Vamos DC

Group of people with and without disabilities at the DC Latinx Conference on Disabilities

Description

Vamos DC is a network of government and community organizations working together for DC’s Latinx community with disabilities. This group plans an annual conference in Spanish highlighting available resources and supports for Latinx people with disabilities and their families. Our goal is to provide important and needed information in this community’s native language, rather than through translation, and build trusting relationships that lead to individual, family, and community prosperity.

Annual Latinx Conference on Disabilities

Vamos DC is committed to hosting an annual conference to provide information and resources to Latinx DC residents with disabilities and their families. In 2019, we hosted our first conference and have been privileged to host one yearly during Hispanic Heritage Month. See below for resources from previous conferences.
