The DC Developmental Disabilities Council submitted these comments to the Committee on Labor and Workforce Development, chaired by Councilmember Elissa Silverman, to encourage DC Human Resources to enhance its efforts to hire more people with disabilities and work toward becoming a model employer of people with disabilities.
