DD Council Grantee Projects

The DC Developmental Disabilities Council DDC) offers funding opportunities through grants, event sponsorship, and conference participation. The DDC awarding of federal funds through the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 - Public Law 106-402, Request for Application (RFA), and action plan to assure the implementation of the DDC Five-Year State Plan 2022-2026. The federal funds' grants are awarded through the Administration for Community Living and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services regulations published in 45 CFR Part 75.

The DD Council invested $37,724 to reduce social isolation and maximize communication during a public health emergency and $64,080 overall into these innovative ideas in our community!
