The DC Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) offers funding opportunities through grants, event sponsorship, and conference participation.

Request for Applications (RFA): Grants for FYs 2024 and 2025

The DC Developmental Disabilities Council (DD Council) released a Request for Applications (RFA) in November 2023 for Fiscal Years (FYs) 2024 and 2025 Grants. The DD Council is making this funding available to provide leadership and advocacy training for people with developmental disabilities (DD) and their families, technical assistance and capacity building to expand practices in competitive integrated employment (CIE), and support educational programs for people with DD and their families on health, education, and community living. The DD Council supports creative ideas to build inclusive communities where people with and without disabilities from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds thrive together. The DD Council facilitated orientation and technical assistance meetings for applicants throughout November 2023, and applications were due on Thursday, November 30, 2023. The DD Council Grant Review Panel and Executive Committee are reviewing applicants and anticipate announcing winners by February 29, 2024.

The DD Council operates according to the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 (DD Act). We are awarded federal grant funds by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, and subgrants these funds in accordance with regulations published at 45 CFR Part 75.
