The Supporting Families Community of Practice wants to know the highest priorities of individuals and families, including those with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities.
About the DC Supporting Families Community of Practice (DC SFCoP): The DC SFCoP exists to enhance and drive policy, practice, and system transformation to support people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD/DD) within the context of their families and communities. The DC SFCoP includes advocacy organizations, government, service providers, people with IDD/DD, and family members of people with IDD/DD working together. We want your feedback on your priorities so we can focus on the most important things to you. We also want to learn how best to communicate with you. We will use the information that you share with us to:
1) Plan engagement events to share information, including discussions about the areas that are the highest priority to DC families
2) Identify areas where we need to increase partnerships and collaboration to address the priorities of families
3) Plan how best to share information and resources with families from the DC SFCoP and its partners.
